About our supplements/supplies:
Following the Laws of Nature is our goal and truly a Sane decision. The body runs on Real Food, on Genuine building Blocks, and Nature set it up to give the body what it needs to stay healthy.
Unfortunately man has put some 100,00 foreign substances into our environment and as well created pharmaceutically/drug based vitamins. The result is that our bodies need help detoxifying and repairing.
Sadly the quality of our food has continued to decline over the last few decades until much of America’s soil won’t even support plants and must therefore be chemically enhanced to grow, which really isn’t true food anymore. As a result we must turn to Supplementation and it needs to be from the absolute best and truthful sources.
The following are the primary companies we use:
“Quality, From Seed To Supplement®”
Since 1929, Standard Process has been dedicated to the field of nutritional supplements and the whole food philosophy introduced by Dr. Royal Lee. Discover just how resilient your body can be when given the proper nutrition. SP uses true Organic Farming where “Quality Begins With a Healthy Harvest”.
The Kettle Moraine basin of Wisconsin contains nutrient-rich soil. It is here, on company-owned certified organic farmland, that they grow strong, vital plants for use in their supplements. The crops regularly grown include: alfalfa, barley grass, beets, Brussels sprouts, buckwheat, kale, kidney beans, oats, pea vine, and Spanish black radish.
Nature has provided the foundation, and using organic farming practices to ensure that the quality of the farmland is maintained for years to come. In accordance with organic certification, they follow strict guidelines to grow crops, keeping detailed records of our farming practices. Their farmland is monitored annually by certifying agencies to ensure that only the approved farming practices are used. At Standard Process, they are involved from the moment a seed is planted through shipping the finished product to your door.
Dr. Royal Lee, founder of Standard Process, said “Whole foods are the best natural source of vitamins” and “The key to the highest quality is the manufacturing process.” Because preserving the whole food complex is a top priority when manufacturing our supplements, SP bases their formulas on Dr. Lee’s time-proven philosophies. The manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished product, takes an average of six weeks. Throughout the process, raw materials are handled in a carefully controlled environment and tested for quality.
Dr. Lee’s goal was to provide nutrients as they are found in nature—in a whole food state where he believed their natural potency and efficacy would be realized.
Following this philosophy, they start with whole foods—foods you might find in the grocery store, like peas, radishes, and beets. Then, like any good cook, we prepare these ingredients in a way that safeguards their nutritional value. The resulting whole food ingredient is then added to a complex formula that may include whole food extracts; animal tissue extracts and concentrates; botanicals; whole food isolates; and even some synthetic ingredients as required to meet high formula standards.*
But what exactly is a whole food supplement?
Whole Food Supplement is a complex formula that includes plant and animal extracts, desiccates, or other ingredients as required to create the best dietary supplement for each health indication.
There’s currently no regulatory definition, so companies are free to make up their own to suit their needs. This lack of clarity has led to a lexicon of misleading terms and a perplexed public.
As the world’s first company to make whole food supplements, they bring authority and leadership to the subject.
The goal of all whole food supplementation is to provide nutrients for the body that are as close as possible to how they are found in nature. After all, it is in this whole food state that nutrition is typically harnessed and presented to the body.
Sourcing: More than 60% of all raw plant ingredients that go into our products come from the Standard Process certified-organic farm. For the foods we don’t grow, we actively source the best-quality nutritional ingredients from around the world. Our health-supporting whole food animal tissues are derived from bovine, ovine and porcine sources and are obtained exclusively from USDA-certified facilities in the United States. Tissues may also be purchased from Argentina and New Zealand with appropriate health certificates.
Nestmann Homeopathic and Marco-pharma
For over 50 years, Nestmann homeopathic and herbal formulas have been developed from the knowledge gained by three generations of naturopathic physicians and pharmacists. Nestmann formulas work on two levels simultaneously: supplementing and healing. All the remedies are standardized* and pharmaceutical grade, as tested by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) which guarantees the active ingredients are present in the same concentrations in each bottle.
Marco Pharma International (MPI) carries a collection of supplements, herbals and homeopathic remedies from 14 different manufacturers, chosen by physicians and pharmacists with experience in biological medicines. We import from Germany, the Pacific Islands and also manufacture in the United States. Our ingredients are pharmaceutical grade, standardized and registered with their respective medical regulatory agencies. MPI is based in Oregon.
A standard component of all German Naturopathic College curricula is the learn about pharmaceutical companies and their natural medicines. Whether homeopathic or herbal, these natural formulas have been essential in German for many decades. Due to their proven effectiveness, these medicines are the core element of German Naturopathic Education.
For 50 years, Nestmann has provided the strongest drainage remedies available.
Many disease-related symptoms result from a buildup of cellular wastes (metabolites) caused by poor circulation in a particular organ or organ system. All cells are surrounded by connective tissue. When left untended, toxic buildups can form on the connective tissue that obstruct the passage of nutrients through to the cells, further hindering drainage of cellular wastes.
Thus, the first therapeutic step should always be to increase circulation in an attempt to cleanse the space around cells. For example, patients who have a poor diet and do not exercise tend to have sluggish circulation. The arteriosclerotic plaque buildup in these individuals is like the waste that accrues at the banks of a slow flowing river. Increased blood flow washes waste away like a quickly moving mountain stream.
Throughout the centuries, empirical evidence has proven that specific medicinal plants will increase circulation in particular organs and organ systems. Herbs that improve metabolic functions by increasing circulation are called “drainage remedies.”
Using drainage remedies during chelation therapy is a must and will also reduce stress on the kidneys and lymphatic system.
Systemic Formulas synergistically formulated herbal blends are available through chiropractors, nutritional consultants, naturopaths, acupuncturists, medical doctors, and veterinarians throughout the United States.
Recommended by licensed healthcare practitioners, Systemic Formulas utilizes a proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, RNA/DNA tissue factors, amino acids, and botanicals which are synergistically formulated in a manner that targets a particular health issue, as well as supports the entire body system as a whole. Tested and proven by users for over fifty years, these products are developed to aid the body’s vital functions such as the immune system, organ function, and overall wellness.
The original formulas were developed and created by company founder Dr. A.S. “Doc” Wheelwright, after years of travel and discovery from some of the world’s oldest and most beneficial herbal practices including Native American herbology combined with the herbal traditions of China, India, Tibet, Africa, Polynesia, Brazil and Europe. With a background in biochemistry and nutritional theory, Dr. A.S. “Doc” Wheelwright pioneered an herbal triad system that stimulates support for the targeted health issue while concurrently providing aid to the other connecting body systems. This systemic formulation provides the basis for these proprietary nutritional products, which delivers wellness from nature.
“Our research continues to show that synergistically formulated herbal products have a positive effect in providing wellness for health issues relating to the immune system, organ functions, digestion, and overall wellbeing,” said Stu Wheelwright, CEO of Systemic Formulas, Inc. “Our mission is to build on my father’s original research and formulations to support the alternative medicine community with practical applications to improve client health. We are fortunate to have this strong history of herbal health research in our company, and our mission is to share this knowledge with licensed healthcare practitioners throughout the country who are committed to healing their clients.”

Co-founded in 1986 by Professor Kerry Bone, MediHerb is the first choice for health care professionals in herbal products in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
Total Commitment to Quality
The philosopher and teacher Rudolf Steiner once said, "For every human illness, somewhere in the world there exists a plant which is the cure. I believe that there is a healing potential locked inside plants which is integral with their evolution, just as it is part of human evolution to learn to tap this wonderful gift of Nature."
In the words of MediHerb's Co-Founder, Professor Kerry Bone: "Our passion at MediHerb is to unlock the healing power of plants by combining the time-honored wisdom of traditional knowledge with sound clinical experience and the rigor of scientific research. This quest can only be attained by the total commitment to quality and continuous improvement, which permeates every aspect of our endeavors."
MediHerb's commitment to quality is evidenced in every aspect of their business, from the rigorous sourcing and testing of herbs and the in-depth research and development of herb active constituents and therapeutic applications, to the development of manufacturing and extraction processes that have revolutionized the herbal products industry. For over 25 years, MediHerb has not only demonstrated an unwavering commitment to quality in herbal products, we have redefined it. They believe that their approach to quality sets a standard for herbal products that is unsurpassed in the world today.
Quality Issues with Herbs
Working with herbs to consistently manufacture high quality products is not easy as plants are naturally complex and the quality of a finished product can vary enormously, presenting MediHerb with continual challenges. These challenges are numerous, and include the inherent biological and chemical variability of herbs, the influences on quality of growing, harvesting, drying and storage, extraction of the herb, stability and the ultimate problem of defining quality in a meaningful way.
Put simply not all herbal products are the same
Not all herbs contain the same levels of active constituents. Not all herbs are grown or harvested or dried or stored in the same way. Not all herb growers', suppliers', or manufacturers' standards are the same and not all methods to determine quality are the same.
